A SHORTAGE of homes in Exeter is helping to fuel a mini-boom in the property market.
A number of estate agents are reporting a rise in sales, and a small increase in prices, as more first-time buyers enter the market.

Estimated gross mortgage lending in the UK totalled £12.6 billion in August, according to the Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML). – 24th September 2009
A statement from the CML revealed that a seasonal fall in lending activity is usually expected in August.
